Something about her seemed familiar, though he couldn't place it. Maybe they'd...? But no, he'd remember a pretty one like her. "I go a great many places I shouldn't," he said with a smile, even as she dragged him along. "Where are we going, my sweet? Looking for a liaison behind the barrels?"
When she pulled him up short and proffered threats of death, he just laughed. "No one is going to kill me," he said, with surety. "Not today, that isn't for a while yet."
He didn't have anything for her, but he felt that he should know what she was looking for all the same. Strange feeling. "Maybe if you tell me what you need, I'll be able to tell you if I have it," he said, smile creeping a little wider.
