Who: Alphonse and Hayley
What: Meetings, absorptions, and metaphorical adoptions
Where: A restaurant in Redmond
When: 9:30ish Tuesday night
Warnings: Well depending on whether or not Al annoys Hayley enough to drive her to murder. . .
Alphonse hummed as he waited for his mysterious contact to arrive. He honestly hadn't expected to get a response when he'd posted the inquiry on the forums. It had been more of a "why not?" kind of thing than any attempt at serious detective work; which of course meant that it was the first real, concrete lead he'd found in years. So now here he was waiting outside a closed restaurant for a person he'd never even met, or even knew the name of. That was why he had the sign. Alphonse had printed out a large picture of chalk and tapped it to a piece of poster board, and above the picture he'd written in English "Is this you?" with an arrow pointing to the chalk. Bellow he had written the same question, only in German.
Now all he had to do was wait for his mysterious anonymous to show up and try to keep himself from panicking in the meantime. This was the closest he'd ever been to finding out anything about his mother and he was terrified that he'd get stood up. He had no way of tracking this person, and they were the only one who had responded to his post. At least he knew he'd made the right choice coming to Seattle. Even if she wasn't here now, she had been and there was at least one person in this city who knew her. Alphonse would go door to door if he had to, to find them.
