Katya smiled warmly and watched as Madeline disappeared into the kitchen. She wasn't aware of the effect she was having on the other girl, but she was aware of just how much the girl was effecting her. She had been more communicative in the dojo, but Katya didn't want to make her angry again. She took the cup of tea with murmured thanks as she tried to figure out what to say.
"I know that I am different from most people, and that I can sometimes be overwhelming, but I truly mean no harm. This city is dangerous and it needs to be protected. Given your ability, I believed that you were like me," Katya said quietly. She was self aware, more-so after the fact, but that was hardly the point. She wouldn't push Madeline into being a Mask if she didn't want to.
