Who: Fawkes and Max
What: A pre-arranged encounter.
Where: tbd
When: After Max leaves work at the Times.
Warnings: None for now
Fawkes, as he (if Fawkes was indeed a he, though the mask had, at least, adopted a male persona) had christened himself, had arranged to meet with Max Main at some point in the indeterminate future. Max Main, journalist and reputed sometime girlfriend of the man reputed to be the Bat. All guesswork of course, all the conjecture of the ravenous media, but one never could tell what truth there was in news.
He had plans for the next few weeks, but before he enacted them he thought it worth fulfilling his meeting with Ms. Main, and giving her the interview she craved. The things he wanted were far-reaching, reforms in every sector of the system that were, he was willing to admit, virtually unachievable goals, not that he wouldn't aim for them regardless. Either way, the more people who heard his message, the more likely he was to plant the seed of rebellion against the status quo in the hearts and minds of the masses. So Max Main would get her interview. But on his terms.
It was nothing at all to plant himself on a rooftop near the Times in the shadow of a stairwell and wait for Ms. Main to leave her job for the evening. It was already getting dark by the time she left, and he began to follow her where ever she might be headed.
