Rob didn't read too much into that - he wasn't the suspicious type. The only person he really was paranoid about in terms of connections was himself. He released Luke's hand and began working on getting the other strap on - attention divided between the boy and the straps, so he knew he was welcome to keep talking. It helped a bit.

Hobby since I was a kid - now it's my living." Adjusting the velcro with a pat, he looked up. "Are you in college?" He might be younger, but it was better to guess higher then lower.
