Who: Theo & Amelia What: Unpacking Where: Bathos 601 When: Tuesday afternoon Warnings: None to be expected
Amelia felt a little bad about rejecting the doctor's company the night prior, but her place had been an unpacked mess and she wanted just a little more time to settle in. But the candles had been appreciated when she found them outside her door last night, and the scent of vanilla wafted through the air, keeping away the cloying, chemical scent of cleaners and paint. Everything was more put together now, but a pile of debris, the remains of her box party, plastic bags, Styrofoam packing bits, and other such bits and pieces were littered in one corner, the only place she could shove everything while she was working.
So that was the state her apartment was in Tuesday afternoon as she pittered about. Her gym bag was still sitting beside the door, a pair of sandals discarded nearby. At least she had changed out of her ballet clothes, exchanging them for a soft cotton shirt with the sleeves pushed up to her elbows and dark-washed denim that still felt crunchy and stiff with newness. When Theo arrived, she was still working about the place, trying to compact the cardboard into a size that was smaller than she was tall.
