Re: Bar
Of course, flinging your partner to near-injury was a guaranteed way to pull focus on a crowded dance floor. As the music reached a crescendo and Brigham felt that the moment was most opportune, he stepped into the noise and led Kayla in a spin; as she went to the left, he gripped her shoulder so that his arm blocked her body in order to slow her movements. Then his right hand followed hers and urged her into a natural dip, where she simply had to lean back as he supported her with both hands.
Though he had briefly contemplated pulling a few fancier tricks out of his back pocket and perhaps even daring for a one-handed grip, he decided against it at the last moment when he considered that he had no idea how experienced of a 'flyer' Kayla happened to be. Still, there was plenty of flourish and drama in the quick-quick staccato of their movements and when the music came to an end, they were arranged in a thrilling tableau: right hands clasped behind his neck while his left hand held her left shoulder, lower limbs twined together in a delightful blend of form and support. When an impromptu smattering of applause sounded from the occupants of the floor who were closest to the pair, Brigham was assured that they were indeed a vision to behold.
