The smile had caught her off guard. She was expecting him to look a little more guilty or annoyed or display some other negative emotion. The surprise shown on her face, but she quickly fixed her expression, although it was a lot less frowny this time around. "I can't say I do, considering where you are right now, and the condition I've found you in. You could've just walked in then walked out if you just needed to make an appearance. The pictures taken upon entry weren't enough?" The cameras were very aggravating. She didn't understand how people put up with them. Luckily, no one had asked her to stop because she wasn't attached to anyone of note this time around, but those flash bulbs were still annoyingly bright.
When agreed with her, she caught herself mid-sound of satisfaction with a clearing of her throat. "Two times in the span of one week. I'm a machine," she said with a smile as she looked at their hands. She looked back up. "If I see you're not resting again. I'm going to personally handcuff you to a bed until you do." She stroked her thumb over his knuckles as she said this. "Are we clear?"
