"You were home schooled?" she ask curiously. Cora liked finding out more about Theo. She might have remembered him from her childhood as a not boring (that was how she'd classified everyone in those days, boring or not boring) friend of her favorite uncle, but she hadn't known much about him. Really getting to know him made her feel less like the silly little girl he put up with to be nice because she was his friend's niece.
"It's fine, thank you." and suddenly she felt like she was back in grade school crushing on a boy for the first time. Come to think of it hadn't she had something of a little crush on him back then too? She hadn't known at the time that was what it was, it had been only a wee thing at that. And now suddenly she was a flustered school girl again with a crush on Dorey. Without thinking she pushed her the same hair behind her ear again though it was already there. It was a nervous habit, though in this situation it only seemed to make her stomach flip flop a little. Oh lordy she was a preteen again.
