Said brother arrived with less than a handful of minutes to spare, having never seen much cause to be quite as punctual as his brother. Unlike Holden he had more of a flair for the dramatic, for making a scene and forcing others to accept that he was the center of things, and arriving as late as possible without actually being late was just one of the many ways he achieved this. A short request of the maitre'd revealed that Holden was already here, as he'd assumed, and he quickly made his way to the table, gracing him with the sort of smile he might have favored a client with rather than his own flesh and blood before joining him. He poured himself a cup of tea, taking his time with it, and it almost seemed as if he weren't going to say anything before he interrupted the silence. "Well you're looking well. It's a shame we've gone this long without doing this."
