Coraline noticed a clock out of the corner of her eye and "Oh"-ed in surprise. She hadn't been expecting to run into a old friend when she set out, and had been so pleasantly surprised that she completely lost track of time. She had a shift this afternoon at work, and her boss wouldn't be pleased with her if she was late, especially after she'd had to take time off because of her flu. "I'm so sorry to run out like this," she apologized as she stood up. "but if I don't leave now I'm going to be late for work." Coraline pulled him into a quick, but warm hug. "It was lovely seeing you. We really have to do this again." And she meant it. Coraline had quite enjoyed her little visit, and especially Theo's company.
