Sobs subsiding, JP wiped her eyes and took a step away from the poor guy she was pretty much raining on. She offered him a small pathetic smile, mostly meant to reassure herself more than do anything for him. Her make up, she was sure, was smeared across her face, but she didn't mind. Not right now, in the grand scheme of things.
"Yeah," she said quietly, "you're right. Better that they're still alive, I guess." Even if it was barely, and a shitty way to be alive. Cut and bleeding... it was terrible. She couldn't imagine actually living through that kind of pain. Speaking of pain, JP noticed his camera just as he moved it. "Are you a reporter?" she asked, a frown turning her lips down. Capitalizing on the pain of others was something that made her mad most days. Today... she could only stomach the thought because it would mean getting the story of these poor girls out there.
