"We won't get sick," he replied petulantly, sticking out his tongue in her general direction, because he wasn't sure exactly where she was with his closed. With a quiet huff of laughter, he amended his statement. "At least, I won't get sick." He lightly squeezed her hand and slowly opened his eyes, taking long, deep breaths in through his nose to keep his nerves down. He kept his eyes on the horizon and focused on the feeling of moving as opposed to the sensation of falling and rising. "And you can't get sick from eating spun sugar unless you eat too much." He gave her a quirky smile. "Are you asking me to regulate your eating habits, prickles?"
