Who: Amos and Isobel.
What: Guidance from the divine over non-caffeinated tea.
Where: Ineffable.
When: Late afternoon.
Warnings: No bad stuff here! It’s against his nature.

Amos liked to think he knew how to place the signs well enough by now. To make an unfair generalization, wandering souls were in abundance, but it was the truly lost souls that were awfully more difficult to find and guide. Despite this unfortunate reality, he muddled through with the tools at his disposal and the people that truly needed his help. It was the very least he could do to lend an ear and a spot of tea to a young woman who sounded as if she could use the gesture. The nights had been getting colder, after all.

With the shop closed (the sign on the door read UNDER REMODELING INDEFINITELY), Amos took to looking after the kettle and stacking the remaining books pertaining to On the Origin of Species. Excellent read, those. The works that branched from Charles Darwin would always prove a fascination.

There. Now, to wait. It was a rare occasion indeed when Amos hoped someone would actually find the shop, but this was different. This was a customer of an altogether different variety.
