She took his arm, but she stepped in front of him almost immediately, rocking against him and pressing a warm kiss beneath his chin, her lips finding the spot behind his ear a moment later. "You haven't asked where we're going," she said, and, "I want to leave here."
She stepped back, looked at him with deep, deep, haunted eyes, and she slipped free of his arm entirely and walked toward the entrance to the tent. She didn't look back to see if he was following, and she didn't hurry. Her hips swayed a little too much, thanks to the alcohol in her system, but there was no other indication that she was intoxicated.
She walked out to the cars, and she waited to see if he would come.
