Re: The Bar
That brow arched just a hair higher when she spoke, never taking his gaze off of her mouth as she finished off the remains of his own drink. A woman who enjoyed being looked at, and Luca was quite aware that there was probably little he could pull over on her. She knew the tricks, the ways of talking, and probably used the same words he liked to employ. He'd have to be on his toes around this one.
Glasses were exchanged, and without missing a beat, he turned to deposit his empty glass on the bar top, signaling for another before turning back to look her up and down. "I thought you preferred mine," he said lightly. "If you're taking yours back, it's only right that you share a bit with me, hmm?" And then he smiled, a crooked, naughty little smile reserved for her. And then, without saying another word, he leaned in to press his lips to the rim of the Lemon Drop, hand coming out from below to tip it upwards ever so slightly until he could get a mouthful of the soursweet drink.
"Delizioso," he murmured as he lifted his head, straightening slowly but surely without taking his eyes off of her. Whether he was referring to her or the drink, that was another question.
