Evie didn't think she was quite as a handful as everyone seemed to think she was. But that was probably pretty standard with handfuls such as her.
She thought it over carefully, she would dance with Solomon, there was no doubt about that, she also knew she probably shouldn't push all of her Papa's buttons this early in the evening. She realized she was shifting from foot to foot while she thought about the pros and cons of dancing with Mr. Elijah Pride. First of all he was Georgie's babysitter, so maybe he wasn't so intimidating as every other new person. Solomon and her Papa were barely a stones throw away, and Papa at the very least would make sure she was long gone in case she made a scene. Then again, Luc was gone...And that didn't help her feel much more comfortable.
But this was their party, and their dance, they should dance together. She held her hand out towards him just a bit tentatively, "We should dance," she said quickly before she changed her mind.
