As she watched his expressions, Daryl couldn't help categorizing every facial twitch and muscle movement neatly into a compartment in her mind. It was a nice glass house to sit inside, to hide within. It kept them in the same room and in different universes, preventing him from coming too close. But by the end, by the time he fell quiet, she couldn't deny what she had learned - something was upsetting him.
She hesitated, brows furrowed just slightly. "You say you're happy, and yet something is clearly upsetting you." Before he had the chance to reply, she cut him off. "Don't lie and say you are not upset. I can tell."
