Who: Ray and Isobel What: Going hom Where: Bat-Approved Safe House [BASH], then to Bathos When: Monday, 10am Warnings: None
Ray woke up slowly, groggy from the lack of sleep over the past two days. The safe house had been a blessing, and Ray was incredibly thankful that the Bat had answered his call for help. There had been enough food and water to keep them alive, but his biggest concern had been for Isobel. She seemed so shaken. They had shared the small cot despite the close quarters as a way to comfort one another. Ray was doing his best to not think about his encounters with the Reavers. He hid that part of him far away, and he could barely stand to look at his messenger bag, knowing that the guns were in it.
He was spooning Isobel, his back pressed against the wall the cot was pushed up against. Ray tightened his grip around her waist for a moment, before gently shaking her to wake her up. "Isobel, c'mon, wake up," he said softly. Perhaps today when he checked the forums things would be clear to head home.
