Who: Sam and Cora What: Meetings! Where: U. Seattle Campus --> Library When: This morning Warnings: Doubt it.
Sam had thrown herself into her studies in order to ignore the day before. She wouldn't even let it come into her mind as she left the house early and headed to the campus. There weren't any clases today, but studying outside of Hamartia would be good - excellent really - for not avoiding other thoughts. Auditions for A Midsummer Night's Dream was a week away and she still wasn't ready. The more of Hermia's parts she read, the less she liked the character. Helena's parts seemed more interesting and Sam thought she understood her more. Hermia and Lysander might have been more romantic, in the classical sense - elopement had always seemed daring to her - but Helena's confusion once the spell was cast seemed more relatable, especially now.
She'd headed up to the library, whipping out her copy of the play at a small table upstairs. It was quiet, thanks to Labor Day and only a few people milling about. With a heavy sigh, she began to find something acceptable to memorize, trying to focus on Hermia, not Helena.
