"Dapper." He shrugged, wrinkling his nose a little when she straightened his bow tie. "Thanks. You look... really great too." Luke wasn't sure what the female equivalent of dapper was, but 'great' always seemed to work and it was broad enough to mean other compliments too. Normally he didn't do much on New Year's Eve, either having spent it at home with his parents or at a friend's house in the past. This was his first New Year's in the human worlds, and he was glad to be ringing it in with someone he cared about.
He tested the drink and was relieved to find that he couldn't taste too much alcohol. "Oh. Uh..." Luke frowned, trying to think. He hadn't talked to Quinn in a while so he had no idea what she was doing, while Wren hadn't mentioned her plans either. He really didn't know what any of his other friends were doing, actually - he didn't even know what, if anything, Thomas had planned. "I don't know. I don't think so." For some reason he felt strangely troubled by how out of touch he seemed to be with everyone. "Are any of yours coming?"
