Ray grinned, pleased that he had won. Oh yes, things were certainly looking up for him and, to be honest, he wasn't entirely sure what he'd ask of Isobel. He adopted a mock wounded look once more as she asked just how cruel he would be. "Me? Cruel? And here I thought I'd just ask you to bake me some cookies," he replied as he gathered up the cards.
"How about, instead, you have to teach me how to bake cookies," he offered. Ray knew he was a miserable cook, especially when it came to sweets. He was more likely to eat the dough and chocolate chips than to actually get them in the oven. Not to mention the potential for flour fights. Yes, that would be the perfect request. "What do you say? You, me, your kitchen, and a dozen cookies," Ray added, flipping over the next card to continue their game.
