Who: Sam and Pretty Pink Princess Adam
What: Sam rescues Princess Adam from the trolls
Where: Adam's dream
When: Last night
Warnings: Crack and cross-dressing men in pink ballgowns
The funny thing about dreams was that they always made perfect sense when you were having them. So it was with no great surprise that Adam looked at himself in a mirror and, seeing himself in a pink dress, thought it was perfectly natural. He spun about, holding the skirts away from his body so he could watch the fabric ripple. Delight made him giddy, and he giggled before rushing away from the mirror to his vanity. He was overcome with the desire to brush his hair because it seemed to him that hair brushing was something that princesses did.
It was as he sat at his vanity, staring in the heart-shaped mirror gilded with gold and pink diamonds, that he realized there might be something wrong with the situation. His hair was simply too short. Then, quite suddenly, it wasn’t, and he had curling golden locks falling halfway down his back. With a contented sigh, he stood, still brushing his hair, and went to the window of his tower. A witch had taken him when he had been just a little thing, barely old enough to walk, and locked him in this tower. The tower was guarded by trolls. He stuck his head out the first floor window, which was right next to the first floor door, and said good morrow to the trolls. They laughed at him.
Trolls, it was well known, were terrible company.
Sighing heavily, Adam turned away from his window and walked back toward his vanity, wishing, with all his heart, that a Champion or a Hero would come and whisk him away. Holding his brush to his chest, he closed his eyes and wished with all his heart. And then, when he opened his eyes, there was someone standing in the middle of his tower who hadn’t been there a moment before.
He squealed with delight. “Are you my knight?” he asked the someone. “Are you here to save me from this cruel existence, and whisk me away on your noble steed to a better tomorrow?”
