This was fun. Mika's brothers never helped her with the cookie making, though they enjoyed eating them thoroughly. The best she got out of her family was a promise to leave her alone for the day and to not eat all her batter when she wasn't looking. She slowly added the flour-salt mixture into the bowl, careful not to make too much of a mess.
Mika had to think about that next question. She'd never thought about not doing what she did, but she supposed that she would have to stop at some point. After all, her father stopped, didn't he? But did she want to? "I don't think I'll ever want to stop," She spoke up so that she could be heard over the mixer, "But I also think that it's not always something that you can choose."
