Kylie thought very seriously of getting up to go and check the window for signs of Armageddon. Skyler's skepticism was expected; he'd already gotten this pitch. Then again, he'd been there when everyone's memories had gone to hell. The idea then had been to cut out the travel-time between them in a crisis... something that Skyler would have experienced twice now. She had expected Doug to be skeptical, too. He'd started out that way, and she didn't see him just having a complete change of heart in a matter of seconds... even though that would have been very helpful.
She hadn't been expecting Rad to agree with her, though. Again. That had to be a sign of the Apocalypse. She was quiet until Rad was done (perhaps out of shock) and then held up a hand in his direction. See there? He knows. This didn't last. He might turn around and figure out that she thought he was talking good sense and then change his mind.
"People are always talking," she offered to Doug. "And I can handle my press to a certain extent. We've all been seen together in public places, and at this point you've all been seen coming into the building. I've got a press guy to worry about that." And then to Skyler. "And even if none of us are in immediate danger or on anyone's list to kidnap, what happens the next time something crazy goes on? I don't know if anyone else has noticed, but things just seem to... happen... around here. There's people in masks running around and kidnappings and sometimes things happen to our memories and... It would just make me feel better if the people I liked most were close at hand. And I know it would help Bunny through all this."
