Who: Bunny & Will What: Discussing "The Luke Situation" Where: Random Cafe When: Saturday following Thanksgiving. Warnings: tbd
There were a lot of things Bunny had walked away with on Thanksgiving. None of them had been leftovers thankfully. It wasn't that she minded leftovers, but they tended to stretch out until February somehow. She might not have still been unemployed, but she had an awesome new home with some awesome new roommates. She couldn't ask for more, really. She'd gotten a lot more than she'd expected out of that party though. She'd found out that Luke was going to be Thomas' son, and more importantly, she didn't know how it was more important, but it definitely was, she found out that Luke has feelings for her. They weren't friend feelings, they were "I really like you." feelings.
Bunny had thought of him mostly as a friend, except for their initial meeting at the comic book shop. Cute, fit, non-acne covered comic book and videogame loving boy who had manners and wasn't socially awkward? Total plus. Over the months, she'd gotten to know him as a great guy. He was there for her when she needed him, even if she hadn't asked him to be. He called her when he needed her, well, he had that one time. After that is when everything had started getting weird. She couldn't put her finger on it, but she felt like it had all started with Thomas.
Thomas had to have been important to him if they were now officially family. He was supposed to be Thomas' son? It would explain a lot of stuff and it made her threat to Thomas look really stupid too. She wasn't going to back down though. If he was actually a dead beat dad, then it meant he could still hurt Luke. Giving him a ton of money wasn't going to make them instaclose, at least not in Bunny's mind. Money was nice, but it didn't account for lost time.
Thomas didn't seem to care much about Luke at the party from what she'd seen anyway. The thought made her frown at her cappuccino as she curled up on the overstuffed couch in the back of the room.
