The hug from Bunny had been brief, but had settled Kylie's protective urges. She didn't think she'd have to punch Luke in the face, which was nice. And she knew that she and Bunny would have stuff to talk about after the dinner was over, probably when they were back at home and piled into one bed or another. It was like one big sleepover, living with Bunny and Juliet. A big, awesome sleepover.
Once the huggy couple was gone, Kylie counted to ten before she turned toward Skyler, lifting up on her toes to give him an impulsive hug. It meant dropping his hand, which sort of sucked, but hugs were nice too. "Did you see? They were so cute! I knew they were together." Together, and all huggy and really cute. That's pretty much all Kylie required out of a couple, as long as they were happy with one another. After a second, she leaned away a little bit, the slightest of frowns on her lips.
"We interrupted them. You don't think she'll be mad, do you?"
