Re: The Hallway.
Luke didn't particularly care about the cameras that captured his departure, not at the moment, but hopefully the false ease with which he'd left was enough to keep them somewhat satisfied. He couldn't just sit there and pretend like everything was fine when Bunny was out there, upset, because of him. He had no idea what he was going to say and was acting entirely on impulse, which he realized probably wasn't the best idea in terms of thinking before he spoke.
Getting away from the crowd wasn't easy, but he managed to lose the press once he was out and in the hallway, completely oblivious to what was going in the room he'd just left. It wasn't hard to spot Bunny nestled in the corner, and immediately his mask of false cheeriness vanished. His expression was a cross between apologetic and concerned as he approached her, lowering his voice without even realizing it. "Bunny? Are you okay?" Immediately he wanted to kick himself for asking such an obvious question. "I mean-- yeah, that was a stupid question." He sucked in a breath and sighed heavily. "But I couldn't just sit in there and do nothing."
Maybe he should have stopped and come up with some kind of game plan first.
