Who: Mason and Johnny
What: Johnny got a few distressing memories, the least of which is not his bastard child.
Where: Mason and Max's apartment
When: After this
Of all the memories Johnny seemed to have downloaded, there was one that had broken his heart, one that had disturbed him on the basis of being too much information, one that had made him feel like the worst friend ever, and one that had broken his brain completely. And not even in that order.
He was texting with Max, and pissing her off for one reason or another, he didn't know what to say, or how to handle this situation. He wasn't used to being in the middle of something like this, and frankly it was way above his paygrade. He just wanted something to be easy. It was easy for him to care about Max, it was easy for him to be a good guy, certain things came easy to him, but for some reason things that seemed so cut and dry to him weren't that way to anyone else.
He was stupid, either she was in love with someone else and he was wasting his time, or she was so complicated he'd never figure her out and spend all of his free time hurting her, or vice versa. He didn't want that. So, in typical Johnny fashion, he chose to focus on things that did make sense to him. Despite the awkward, Mason made sense, he knew Johnny better than anyone and that was appreciated...Even if he hadn't taken him to prom.
And the other thing he hoped he could deal with was this child he didn't know he had. He had zero idea how to deal with that but he was confident that between he and Mason they could figure something out. Or they'd just drink beer until they passed out and approach it with a fresh brain the next day. He knocked on the door, and couldn't help looking frazzled when Mason opened it, "I need a beer," he said not waiting for the invitation to come in before walking past him into the apartment.
