Deliveries. [Early Monday morning, because Thomas forgot Sunday was Mother's Day. He always forgets holidays unless there's a spike in crime.]
[G. Dailey]
A blue box and a boring card with a white lily on it that says "Happy Mother's Day". The note, in Thomas' embarrassed, block-y writing, says, "Remember who you are. - TB"
[M. Main]
Another blue box to her at work by a polite but firm special messenger that requires she show ID and sign for it. He also delivers a purple gift bag with two eyes and fluffy ears coming out of the tissue. He is less thrilled about the latter.
Thomas forgot to include a card until the very last second, so another messenger from the same company comes out of the elevator about thirty seconds after the last one leaves to hand her another boring card with a white lily on it. It's got a "Happy Mother's Day" logo on it, but inside there's nothing except "TB".
