Re: Orin/Adam
From where I'm standing, this reads like a trust issue. You want to keep us safe, but you're keeping us in the dark. We're not going to stay sitting down. Eventually, one of us will get up, one of us will stumble or trip on something. Ro will do it blindly, but I will do it systematically. You don't have to tell her; she doesn't seem to care. But me? You should know better than to keep me in the dark.
You don't have to stop, but you've got your options wrong. You can either tell us or lose your family? What is that, like telling us or shoving your legs in a wood chipper? Telling us or getting gored by a bull? An idiot chooses the second option; a wise man chooses the first. You are nothing if not wise. Why act like an idiot?
We aren't going to leave you if you tell us. We're family, and even when we're bastards, even when we fuck up so badly that we're at the risk of going to jail with the family name tarnished, we stick together.
