The package is, as usual, decorated with stickers these are all different kinds of reindeer, dogs wearing antlers, and one very random but strategically placed Transformer sticker, and contains a folded note written in red crayon on green construction paper that says "Thank You" the letters a bit askew but legible. As well as a holiday craft and a book.
There is a note attached:
My colleague wanted very much to send you a holiday craft, we're Jewish but school has a way of inspiring children to enjoy all Christmas has to offer. I'm not complaining, even I can't deny the relative charm of bringing a tree inside the house.
Thank you very much for the book, it's interesting reading indeed. In that vain, please accept the enclosed book, while the title is good for a laugh and perhaps not much to do with our trade, it was my coffee house reading this time last year (there is something to be said for being the woman no one can shop for during office Secret Santa exchanges), so perhaps it will be the same for you. To be fair, I drew the name of a man I'd never met before, settled on a bottle of wine, and was later told he was a recovering alcoholic. Thank your deity of choice for the "secret" part of that gift exchange.
