Teddy checked the mailbox for something to do to get him the hell away from his laptop. Between that PI prick and Ike turning up (shit he needed to tell Gabe) online, his ire was running higher than usual. He was supposed to be enjoying his day and night off, but no dice. So mail call it was.
He wasn't too surprised to see he had mail, considering he'd had everything forwarded to the new address before he'd left St. Louis. The familiarly sized index card was unexpected now, though, and instantly brought a softened smile to his face. For the time being he didn't feel like seeking Ike out and beating him to a bloody pulp.
He became easily distracted by the oversize envelope bearing his full name, however, and closed the mailbox and locked it without removing any of Janet's mail.
