Johnny looked at him, arching an eyebrow. He reached out to lift Daniel's chin so brown eyes would meet blue. "What did he make you do?" Johnny asked, there was no doubt in his mind Daniel had gone to Silver to get the money. He didn't blame him, it was the only option. And it wasn't Daniel's fault Johnny had been dying.

"I'm not gonna be mad. You didn't have any other choice, and it's not like it's your fault I nearly bled to death." Johnny said, reaching for the can of Coke one of the nurses had gotten him and took a sip. His throat was parched. He was hungry, too.

Johnny brushed a thumb across Daniel's scruffy cheek. "I'm still gonna love you, no matter what."
