"I don't want to want one over the other, but I want a girl." Johnny said, rubbing her belly. Johnny kissed her belly. "You won't lose her. Our baby girl is a fighter. Like her mama." Johnny hoped that the baby would have hiccups so he could feel them. The bonfire was still raging, and Johnny hoped they'd get back before all the food was gone.
Johnny looked at her. "Don't worry so much, babe. Look how far you've gotten already. I know you lost our other babies, but this one is gonna make it." Johnny said confidently. Johnny stumbled a bit, and managed to regain his footing. "Sorry, I'm really wasted."
He hated that they' d spent time apart. Johnny had just been so angry that she'd not told him about babies that he'd lost. A part of him still nursed that hurt. And he knew that he always would. He was always thinking about the babies they'd lost. "We're not going to lose our baby girl, Dani. You have to stop thinking that. You have to be positive."
