[Zelos gives a blink of his eyes, his concerned expression turning contemplative. For some reason, he has this feeling of déjà vu.... Has he heard Malba utter those words before?
He closes his eyes, struggling to summon up the memory: Malba, lying still on a stark white hospital bed, his breaths coming slowly. Wake up for me, Mals, Zelos had said. But it was so hard for Malba--it took so much effort....
Zelos opens his eyes again. That had been his first trip into the facility. When he arrived, Malba was practically zombified from all of the sedating medication. Could that be what's causing him so much suffering now? Something in his cocktail? The former Chosen lets out a slow exhale. Only Ikenna, Kopaka or Varada would be able to figure that one out. For now....]
--Can you rest, Mals? Just rest. I'm not gonna let anything happen to you while you do. Just... just rest for a bit.-- [he asks, his inner-voice soft and oh-so-clearly betraying his worry. There isn't anything that can be done for Malba now, so... sleep is probably the best option.]
