Olli realized pretty quickly that she had been right and, no, the Bradfords had not been stopping for her. What they had been stopping for though had Olli smile, mostly at their pretty terrible attempt at hiding the weed they had started to smoke. In Olli's opinion, it was lucky that she'd been the one to stumble onto them, and not someone who actually had a problem with it. Olli was far more likely to ask for a hit than to go narc on them.
"Um, well if you don't mind, it'd actually be pretty helpful. These things seemed pretty light when I left my apartment, but once I got halfway to Jamison's, I started wishing I'd cabbed it over there." Her eyes went to Marley's purse and she shrugged one shoulder. "You know you don't have to put that out on my account right? I ain't exactly the sort of person who's gonna run and tell Chief Always-in-your-Business."
She gestured to the car with her chin. "You ladies mind just giving me and my bags of meat a lift the rest of the way? I promise they're incredibly well secured. I seriously would not want to spill anything inside that gorgeous car of yours."
