Caffeine was probably the last thing Oscar needed. He was still buzzing after hearing about Chief Albert. While he never wished anyone ill, he really couldn't help but think the Chief had it coming. A little celebratory iced coffee wasn't so bad, right? Right.
Leaving the shop in the care of his part-timer for a few, Oscar made his way to the Cafe with a little spring in his step and some song about guns and sneakers in his head. The line was short after the lunch rush, and Oscar got his double shot mocha caramel iced latte in no time at all. He tipped the barista with a couple of bills and a smile before heading to the door.
He stopped, though, when he caught sight of someone. Head cocked curiously and a slightly confused smile tugging at his mouth, Oscar approached the man with the newspaper. "This is going to sound like a line no matter how I say it, but do I know you from somewhere?"
