Sawyer wasn't sure why the kitchen felt alive. The lighting was different but there was more to it than that. It looked almost surreal, like a vision or a dream and yet he was awake. His attention was still on Kate. "That is not a baby bump but a baby mountain. I know it wasn't there last night or I would have noticed when I was on top of you."
He knew this wasn't right, couldn't be right but there she was, standing there pregnant. "We haven't been back together long enough for you to be like that," he pointed out. "What are we supposed to do about it?"
