Jake hit the tree but recovered quickly, stepping back out, pretending that it hadn't affected him at all. "You will have to do much better than that," Jake said. "Your mother had more skill, I am sure, but she knew that you would never catch up. You just weren't good enough." He shrugged and watched the finger carefully.
Sylar moved it but Jake had vanished from the spot and Sylar was knocked completly backward by the huge wolf. Jake had phased and then phased back following the attack.
