"Well, okay." He said with a nod. "You're alright with it then I guess there's no big problem."
"I had a girlfriend and now I don't. Or at least, she led me to believe that I was her boyfriend and then set me straight when she realized she'd rather date the whole town than be with someone who, you know, was dumb enough to fall in love with her." He ranted to her. This wasn't exactly the answer she was probably looking for, but it was the truth.
"Well if you like being an optimist sure, everything can be great." He took a drink of his coffee and smiled. "But things are never as simple as that. Problems follow you around."
