"A year," Donna repeated, momentarily awestruck. "I only said good-bye to you a month ago. Blimey, it's good to see you, though." She smiled up at him, allowing her frustration with the other Doctor to slip away. This one had been so wonderful for the brief time they'd interacted, and he still was. She didn't realize how much she'd missed him.
"Got to be your own person, did you? What was it like? Did people like your witty sense of humor? You get it from me, y'know. Come on, let's walk!" She grabbed his arm, pulling him across the street, theoretically the direction he'd been headed. "Have you seen 'im, the Doctor? The other one, I mean. This is gonna be hard, talking to one of you about the other if you're both using the same title."
