Martha didn't know it, but her thought process wasn't all too different from Donna's own. She could remember the thrill of simply knowing, the joy of realizing she was not just a temp, that she was important beyond anything she'd ever imagined. And yes, she still had been -- but that was it. She had been. Which means she wasn't.
At first, all she could do to respond was nod, but then she met Martha's gaze and found her voice again. "I dunno. But it's not there anymore. The Time Lord mind, it's -- it's gone. If I still had it, I'd -- I dunno, maybe I'd be thinking of ways to get out of here. But I've got nothing at all." She shrugged, then took another sip of coffee. What else was there to do? She should be grateful she had the memories again, and she was. It was just something else to get used to.
