When: 2pmish
Where: The park
Rating: PGish (for now)
It had been a few days now and no mater how many times she looked or how hard she looked the Grimmerie wasn't giving up any answers. It really was still as puzzling to her as it had always been. That wasn't to say that she never found any answers in it, but it was rare. It was just too hard for her to read. A little part of her deep down inside wondered if this was it's home world and if it were, if someone here would have any better luck reading it.
With a sigh she gave up and shut the book. It didn't matter if this was it's home world or not. She knew herself well enough to know she wasn't going to show the book to anyone unless she really really trusted them. As of yet she didn't trust anyone. She didn't really know anyone. She'd met a few people, but she hadn't even ran into the people who she shared her apartment with. That is what comes from holing yourself up. Yet, she was at least a little surprised that no one had come knocking to try and yell at her for Killjoy chewing on the furniture or releaving himself on the floor or something like that. She usually threw him out before he did anything too terrible, but she wasn't watching him all the time.
What it all boiled down to was that she had so many questions about this world. She needed answers. She'd had a few offers. There was Mulder and then that clumsy girl. What was her name? Rasmus? Raspberry? Elphaba couldn't recall.
It looked cloudy out, but she didn't think it was going to rain. Mulder had told her where she could find him, but for some reason she didn't want to go to him. To here that would be admitting she was a lost little Lamb. She was of course, but that doesn't mean she wanted to admit to it just yet.
Adorned in all her usual clothing she used to cover up the fact she had green skin, she headed out of her building. Not sure where to look for Mulder without actually going to his apartment, Elphaba decided to just go back to where they had met. The park. She walked in her intended direction quickly and with purpose. Her dark eyes cast a glance toward the heavens. She made a note to herself. She'd have to buy an umbrella. A nice big umbrella.
