Who: Anita OTA What: Going out for (even) more Coffee When: Monday Afternoon Where: A Coffee Shop Rating: PG (for now)
It had been a long past few days. Anita had come down with a cold. I horrible nasty cold that left her spending most of her time in bed. It wasn't something she liked. No one LIKED to be sick, but Anita hated it. She hated feeling nearly helpless. At least she'd been strong enough to hold the gun if the need presented itself.
It hadn't, of course. The past few days had been filled with soup, sleep, and as always coffee. Nothing too terribly exciting had happened. No bad guys, just a bad cold. Part of her wondered where it had come from. She'd never met Rose, but wondered if some how she'd picked it up from her. Maybe the Doctor had brought it back? She didn't know. It was probably more likely that she'd picked it up out and about.
Her special order hadn't been in when she'd gone in last...before she was sick. However, she'd been out at the time and had to settle for something less than her normal. She hated settling. She liked her primium blend special order. If she wanted something mundane she wouldn't bother ordering anything else. It made her pout on the iside. Now that she was feeling a little better she decided that she should probably go out and check once more. This time they better have her order or she might pout on the outside. Anita didn't pout like most girls. Anita pouting was usually wasn't pretty.
Snuggling deeply into her large black sweater she made her way down the street. It had started to get a little chilly and Anita didn't want to risk getting sick again. The sweater would keep her warm and hopefuly more toward the well side of things. Her best friend, her gun, was hidden in a hip holster that the sweater was baggy enough to concel. She'd found she didn't normally need it here, but it made her feel safe. If a boy scout could always be prepared then why not here?
Entering the coffee shop she frowned and let out a grown. The line was long. Really long. It turned out that maybe she wasn't the only one who loved coffee. Just Maybe. It was after all practically the nectar of the gods! Maybe she should have just stayed in bed. She gave a soft sigh. Even though she wasn't happy that the line was so long she was going to wait it out. It did give her an idea though. Maybe she should just open her own coffee shop. Just maybe.
