Jacob was lost for a moment. His throat had went dry. He wished Leah weren't there but then it would be even harder to let "his Bella" go. "Oh I don't care," he said suddenly and went to Bella, scooping her up in his arms. She smelled so good even with the bloodsucker's scent on her. "I missed you, Bells." The time always got away from him and moved backward to a time where Edward didn't exist.
With great reluctance he let her go. It was harder each time but not touching her was unthinkable. As he let her go he realized what Leah was saying. Bella wasn't pregnant anymore. His eyes widened. "I have no idea where we are or what is going on. I was out hunting last night and I slept and woke up here." He wasn't sure that made sense but now seeing this, nothing made sense.
