The Doctor moved to open the door, and although he had already known who it would be (unless the delivery guy had discovered teleportation) he smiled that bit wider when he saw Romana standing there. "Hello, love!" he grinned, eying the covered cake and opting for an affectionate shoulder squeeze rather than a hug. The previous Romana hadn't exactly been the most affectionate woman in the world, and although that seemed to have changed now he didn't want to end up knocking the cake out of her hand.
"You weren't joking about the cake," he observed. "Did you actually bake it?" he asked, his voice going a little high with surprise - he'd never known Romana to be the domestic type, and baking was... alarming in her! He stood aside to let her enter the apartment and closed the door behind her. "Isn't it a bit unnerving that all the apartments seem to be identical?" he commented.
