Who: Kaylee What: day dreaming When: near dusk Where: On the street. Why: why not? Open: Yes
Despite her subtle efforts after her work day, grease was still smeared on Kaylee's face and hands. She would need a proper shower and scrub to clean herself up. Snow fell on her smudged up cheeks as a smile curled up on her lips. She'd forgotten how good it could feel to be planet side. Though she was cold, she didn't mind taking it easy. Who knows how long this would last. It is best not to rush a good thing.
With a soft sigh she stopped in front of a house with a 'For Sale' sign out front. This was the house she'd told Simon about. However, so far they had to yet coordinate their schedules to be able to look at it together. In fact, she hadn't seem much of him at all since he picked up the night shift at the hospital. And come to think of it, she hadn't seen any of River. She'd heard the girl was here but hadn't gotten to see her yet. It made her sad, but could not weigh down her smile.
Just standing there in the snow and gazing at the house made her happy. She had an idea of what it would be like to live there with Simon and River. Kaylee would never been a proper home maker, but they would be a happy, even if a bit unconventional, family. She could almost imagine a snowy day like this. Her and River playing in the snow, maybe building a snowman or making snow angels. Or late at night she could imagine having a drink by the fire place with Simon. Lost in her day dreams she gave a happy sigh. It would all be..perfect.
