Spock waited patiently, remaining alert to everything around him, trying to take in his surroundings as best as possible. It seemed until he had come in contact with Starfleet, he was stuck in London and who knew how long that would be. His ears perked up as he heard the fast paced clicking noises of black heeled boots. He turned toward Nyota and couldn't help but smile. The expression on her face was simply infectious, she looked so happy and excited, he decided to take a few steps in her direction.
Their bodies made contact and for a moment, Spock was rather surprised by her particularly passionate greeting. His eyes widened and she'd leaned into him with such force that he staggered back ever so slightly. Once he regained his composure, however, his entire body seemed to melt. The man, once so stoic and stiff, seemed completely altered by her touch. He gently wrapped his arms around her and hugged her, feeling so releived and at ease to have her near. Somehow the unsettling notions of suddenly being in a new place and a new time vanished. It only took one thing farmiliar to him to make this place feel like home again... and it was her.
"Yes, I am here." he said backing up and looking down at her. Those who did not know Spock as well as she, would more than likely assume that his expression remained somewhat emotionless but there was a slight, happy shine in his angled eyes and the edges of his lips egged upward. It was then she leaned in and kissed him and he kissed her right back sliding the palm of his right hand up her back.
When they broke apart, Spock looked down at her, from one eye to the other. "Have you been here long?" he asked. Her behaviour indicated the human emotion of longing. He wondered if the lapse in time had brought her to this place before him. If so, how long had she been in London? He had only just arrived.
