"You're very smart." he said, smiling at her, clearly impressed. "Your darn right showing up here has definitely been a large issue with the uprooting and all." he said with a sigh.
"I was thinking something along the lines of physical education or military training... I don't know... human services?" he sratched the back of his head. "I just like working with people, I like helping them."
He watched her for a moment and looked at her with his big blue eyes, noticing how sad she suddenly looked. He was overcome with the urge to make her laugh but... how? She seemed like the type of girl who would look even more beautiful if she smiled. Her firey red hair would just shine with a big white, toothy smile to go along with it.
"Oh no, not everything bounces back." he said with a smirk. "The checks I send out to pay my bills seem to go through perfectly." He hummed the twilight-zone theme.
